I have a march serpentine pulley system on my GM Performance ZZ4 (350). I am trying to retrofit power steering to my setup. I purchased the March brackets and a GM type II power steering pump from Summit Racing and was able to mount everything but the Pump is really close to the front of the engine. It looks like the pulley will line up ok but I am concerned about the clearance between the pump and the engine. I only have about .050 clearance. I would think that normal vibration could cause the pump to contact the engine?
Does anyone have a picture of there GM type II pump mounted on the front of their 350 that shows how close the pump is mounted to the engine?
