Question GMC 1/2 ton A-Arms v.s. Chevy?

Does anyone know if the GMC and chevy trucks use identical parts? I have an '87 GMC Wrangler and an '87 Chevy 1/2 ton, but they have a different rotor thickness between them. I used the A-Arms from the GMC on the chevy frame with the chevy spindles, and it looks like the original shims wont even be close to setting the (camber?) properly. the wheels are canted in at the top. Is there a heavy half ton version?

If they are from the same year they should be identical pretty much every part is interchangable between them
