GMC bench to bucket seat conversion

I have an 86 gmc short bed pickup that currently has a bench seat in it and wanna put buckets in it. Ive tried mitsubishi eclipse seats, toyota celica seats and an older accord seats and none really fit right or sit at the right angle. Are there any good "race" style seats that will fit beter?

The problem is not the seats, but the mounting brackets that bolt to the truck. You will need to fabricate some mounting brackets so that any seats not original to the truck sit level and at the correct height in your truck. A good place to start is the mounting brackets on the original bench seat. These will unbolt from the adjusters attached to the seat frame. The outside brackets should be perfect , and then you can figure out what the inside bracket needs to be to make the new seats sit correctly.
