I'm sorry, I googled "GMC Intake Lawsuit" and hotrodders is one of the listings. I'm just trying to get some information about the lawsuit against GMC because of the intakes. I just recently had to get an intake on my car, 1998 Chevy Malibu; which cost me alot of money. What do I need to do, to put my name on that lawsuit against GMC. Thank You

If there is a Class Action suit going on---
Somebody will find you concerning it.
If your car is registered---you will be found--no matter how old the car.

I got 3 separate notices and was 'enrolled' (if youo will) in the 73-87 chev gas tank thingy. I did in fact own 3 different (74-78-79) Chevy trucks registered in 2 different states. I was listed as being named for all 3 trucks.
I do not recall any action on my part--but I may have done something.

However, since I did not believe (still don't) that GM poorly designed these, I never did take advantage of the offers GM made me.
$1000 of the sticker for a new vehicle.
or $100 cash for each currently registered 73-87 Chevy pick-up.

Well--I would have had to buy 3 new trucks to take advantage of all that
(drop in the bucket----besides who pays list?)

If your car is out of warrantee and you have already had it fixed, please don't lose any sleep over this thing-----took over 3 years for my suit to be settled---I did not get squat (was not concerned anyway).

Of course in about 2000, I was hit with a recall on my T-Bird----ignored it.
Not too bright a move on my part----cost me an engine a year later.

I also have a newer T-Bird with the plastic intake-----NOT if----it is WHEN it breaks----and it will----just don't know when. (another Ford issue that has not really been addressed by Ford)
