hello all, anyone know what years of gmc/chevy trucks are interchangeable with my 88 c1500 pick up,,,,,,,thanks very much

if you have the 88-98 body style, body panels will swap through the decade. 88-92 interiors and drivetrains are mostly interchangeable. I think the 88 front brakes are different from the rest. All Chevy and GMC parts from the same year make and model will swap directly.

There is one exception to the rule for these trucks. From 88-xx (92?) they kept the old 73-87 body style for Suburbans and 1 ton pickups. Body parts from these Sub/HD trucks will not interchange with your 88 1/2 ton.
