hey folks, here's a one-liner answer question:

I'm going to put the bottom of my motor together this weekend, but I don't have the timing tab yet. Am I going to create a leak if I put it together and then take out a couple of the timing cover bolts later to install the tab (pointer, actually).

Maybe I'm just a bit nit-picky because I want to do this motor 110% correct.

I concur...I've done it several times and have yet to leak. Knock on wood.
