going price for lt1 motor

hey guys,i got a guy who has 1995 5.7L lt1 motor from a ss impala that he got in a reck with(car totaled)he's not sure about a price.he thought i might know.motor was 88,000 miles on it.comes with computer.what should i ask

That version had iron heads, so will not bring as much as an F-body or 'Vette engine. Maybe $500 for the engine, $750 engine and trans. if known to be good.

he said motor was running strong.he has trans also but i don't need one just had mine completly rebuild.that motor is still alot stronger than whats in mine now.i'll see what he says.
