Going From Small Block To Big Block In '71 Nova...

What changes will have to be made to go from 350 to 454 in a '71 Nova? Will it fit with the stock brakebooster( power brakes)? Will the power steering need changes? Any suggestions?

I can't answer the other questions, but the heater box is flatter on a big block Nova.

Make sure you use the correct big block mounts, the small block mounts will make it sit too high and cause clearence issues.

Need correct Big-Block frame mounts, correct heater box cover and correct heater core as the pipes come out in a different position, can't use tall valve covers with power brake booster (IIRC), and big-block bracketry for the steering pump, box is fine as big-block frame stands move entire motor 1" to passenger side. Turbo 400 trans crossmember is also offset 1", but you will have to alter the Turbo 350 crossmember for this offset if using a Th-350.
The 400 crossmember is available reproduction.
