Good Day :)

had a Great Day ! 2 Blocks from my house (from someone I know) I found a 350tbi (that was new in the crate last dec) for the 87 Suburban I bought with a bad motor.

Help With 350 in a 87 Suburban (Pics)

to day me and my son pulled & bought a running (yup I heard it run, and have warranty papers) complete 350 GM Crate TBI motor, out of a 90 chevy p/u it was new in the crate last DEC, and was drove till April when tranny went (complete with distributor, tbi unit & serpentine belt setup, clutch fan & fan, alt,ps pump, ac pump, exhaust manifolds, air cleaner, and still has 28mons of warranty) it's a exact fit replacement for the 87 4X4 Suburban I bought. I bought ther motor and all for $800. I want the serpentine belt system and accessories for a another 350 build, so I don't have to spend $2500. on a aftermarket setup or run a v belt setup.

son wants to paint that black crate motor chevy orange, and power coat all the brackets and V covers & air cleaner power coat chrome. and I hope to have Suburban on the road by thanksgiving.

Hey I'm looking for a 350 1 piece rear main forged GM crank, if you hear of one, or know where one is, (I'm building a budget forged 350 for another project)

I know as the timing of putting this Gas Hog (Nice Mini bus! ) on the Road is Not the Best. but this 87 is a nice virtually a rust free/dent free vehicle, that I could Not pass up. the only rust is surface rust in very small paint scraped areas. that will be repaired/fixed with a complete paint job when it runs, my son in law is a body man

I wish I had the cash flow to buy up a bunch of them .

They are literally on every corner down here I know of 1/2 dozen with in my normal driving route & some are real nice mostly 5 luggers but its rare to see a 6 lug round here .

me i like the barn yard doors because once that glass starts screwing up on the tail gait its a real PITA
