is this a good machine?

Been looking for a "begginer" machine..I came accross this on craigslist. anyone know what it is and would this be good for an aspiring upholstry trimmer?? Thanks

Juki makes a good sewing machine, and Bob's right, that is a good price. This one looks like a DU-1181. Here's a link : JUKI DU-1181 The Singers and Consews of the world are Chevrolets, Pfaff and Adler are the Cadillacs, and Juki is an Oldsmobile. This would be comparable to a Consew 206. It has a horizontal hook and removable bobbin case that loads from the left side of the needle. I like machines that have a vertical hook and stationary bobbin case that loads from the right side, but that's more of a personal preference on my part.

No one lives forever, the trick is creating something that will.
