Man, leave the 727 in it. It's a really tuff transmission and it fits. Believe me unless your'e talking about an occasional driver that you go out and cut the fool with shifting gears on a day to day basis gets old. Have you ever heard the saying "Real men are secure enough to let their gears be shifted for them". LOL
