Slimpikins,
My first thought is that the lifters have gone bad and will not hold oil. Did you do anything to the engine? Scholman |

Slimpikins,
Ok, then I would check the oil galley plugs at the front of the engine just behind the cam gear. One of them might be leaking or missing. I think it is leaking because you do have good oil pressure. Good Luck Scholman |

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering why valve lash was affecting the amount of oil that the rocker arms recieved. If I try to set the rockers at 1/2 turn past zero lash they wont oil worth a flip. The only way I could get them to oil partially properly was to back my lash to about 1/8 a turn from zero lash. This boosts low end torque and vaccume but I lost my sound and high rpm performance.
