I've used kits from B&M, TCI, Trans-Dapt and Fairbanks. I naver had problems with any of them. Stick to a name brand though, a no-name MAY be cheaper but the big guys do have good customer service AND a rep to maintain... You really can't go wrong with any of them...

I have built many transmissions with kits from Transtar (Transmission Technologies). These are the same kits that are used by most if not all of the national transmission shop chains. They have good quality parts at a good price. They only sell to businesses though. Check with the local transmission shop and see what kits they use. Consider buying a kit from them.

I've uses 2 Transtar kits myself and been happy so far. They sold to me no problem, I just walked in and started ordering up parts. Super guys at the one here in Phoenix.
