Good T-350 rebuild kit?

Any opinions on the best/good rebuild kit. Like always I'm on a budget, I understand you get what you pay for. Anyone ever use the Northern parts? It's for my truck, I plan to rebuild it myself (first time for everything). I'll definitely throw a shift kit in it. What should I look for and look out for? Theres a lot of kits on E bay but most are from manufacturers that I've never heard of. Any comments would be a big help.

I've used kits from B&M, TCI, Trans-Dapt and Fairbanks. I naver had problems with any of them. Stick to a name brand though, a no-name MAY be cheaper but the big guys do have good customer service AND a rep to maintain... You really can't go wrong with any of them...

I have built many transmissions with kits from Transtar (Transmission Technologies). These are the same kits that are used by most if not all of the national transmission shop chains. They have good quality parts at a good price. They only sell to businesses though. Check with the local transmission shop and see what kits they use. Consider buying a kit from them.
