good undercoating after restore

i am doing a frame off on my 69 cutlass s convertible. i was wondering what to do for undercoating. i don't want to put on that tar stuff like they used to. is there an updated new better undercoating out. of course i want protection, because i do plan to drive the car alot. but i dont want that ugly balck dust attracting tar.

it is asphalt base but the most awesome looking undercoat i've seen is 3m body schutz. it has a real coarse grain and is a nice matte black.
