It is wheeler dealers. The mechanic is so tall. You should have seen the episode where they fixed up some old convertible. Something like an MG or a small fiat. His head was above the windshield when he drove it. And with the Lotus Esprit his knees were up against the dash.

We don't all have to have the same opinions or like the same things. CS Lewis said something about liking and agreeing not being the same thing. I like Wheeler Dealers because it is more of a budget oriented show. It is more what I can/could do. But hey no worries if we like different stuff.

That's actually one of the things that makes Wheeler Dealers a good show. They actually have no drama! It sows that a car show can be interesting and not have fake drama.
It's also a good show because the mechanic Ed actually shows how to make various repairs that apply to other cars, not just those he's working on.

Not sure, I watch it on cable TV.
Might check Discovery's site for online viewing?

I saw a little bit of it tonight. They revisted a red Alfa respray and sell they did and it had rust bubbles all over it. He told the guy, "you should probably get that fixed." hehehehehehe. It's a cool show though. I mean, they only sold the car for $4500. Being I'm not a mechanic I tend to tune in more on that aspect of it but dig the tricks and schemes they do to resell a car. they got a knack for it that's for sure. The mechanic guy seems super cool and is very likeable.

Unfortunately the guy who buys and sells the cars, Mike Brewer is not liked much by the rodding world in the UK.
They consider him not so car savvy as he likes to think he is.
He does play the hard buy/sell guy rather well though.
Iīm surprised the American ear can tune into his over enthusiastic chatter.

He could be called a "wideboy".
Itīs his London accent and not being able to pronounce "th" he uses "f".

Not everyone over here talks like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins.....

A few years back I attended a custom bike show. A couple of true builders like Dave Perewitz and Billy Lane were there. The producer of the Biker Build Off series was also there and I got to talk to him. I asked why they never had the Teutals on the biker build off...........he said........"would you want to watch them build a bike with there personalities".
The Biker build off show was a true bike building experience to watch. Those guys like Matt Hotch etc are the best when it comes to building a really nice bike.

I agree and I was turned off of the show partly by the mentality of them also by the ***** they kept building... every one of the bikes HAD to have those ugly wide rear tires. Most of the crap they put together would probably fail even the simplest of inspections. Ralph Nader would class these things as UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED including PARKED !!
