Just spent the last 2 days in Famoso at what could be the last GG drag racing meet. There are still car shows planned but no drags on their 2007 schedule. I think they may be trying to make amends for their crappy ways of treating people, my March meet ticket for one day (a rainout) was good for the entire weekend, price went down 5 bucks for the others, LOTS of cars there, weekend swap meet pass was only 60 bucks. The owners of the Famoso race track are going to run their own March Meets, along with the Smokers car club, whom owns the March Meets name. The GG say that without the March Meets, they are dead in the water and can't afford to run meets the rest of the year, also their points system will be useless. Lawyers will be involved. Lots of people, lots of cars, cool weather in the 70s, a good weekend. Dan
