If cost/time is a concern you might have a little more to consider than if you just "simply bolted a set of complete procomp heads on with the engine in the car".
Will the new heads have guide plates?(need hardened push rods)
Are stock length pushrods the correct length for the new heads?
Do you want, or able to use stock stamped rockers/locknuts with new heads?
Will stock valve covers fit new heads?
Don't know how thick stock head gasket is, but you'll need new gaskets, and they may be thicker than old ones thus reducing your calculated compression w/new heads?
Just a few things you may want to consider if you haven't already.
FWIW

Spend the money on decent brodix or Profiler heads.
ProComp ='s junk.
Junk is junk at any price.

Consider swapping dished pistons for flat tops.
Compression is power. Summit engine rebuild kit
With pistons $200. Straight up piston swap with a re-hone.

Many people get stung with the good deal and end up
Redoing it @ twice the price. lack luster perf and short service life
With junk Chinese heads. Even skip white is getting away from those.
That's why you see them so cheap.

What he was trying to say is that the op needs to spend more money- everyone knows you have to spend more money, hotrodding isn't about making the most with what you have but about spending more money.

To the OP, you can't expect some people to be impressed unless you have a big credit card bill in your dash- regardless of how fast or slow it may run.

Its funny that the same guy who proclaims ported used 416 heads as being a great power value is also claiming that you need to spend at least a grand to get any head worth while...

the new heads he is selling appear to be the assualts , hard to tell without an updated picture though but the flow numbers are very close to that of the assualt heads ( off by 1-3 cfm) if the numbers posted on his site is true
