It could be that they just don't carry it anymore... the inventory at Sam's changes frequently. I bought some Goodyear jack stands there a while back and when the pallet was empty, they were gone.

The first time I saw the GY engine hoist, we were buying a basketball goal and a trampoline. I thought, "I'll get it on our next visit." Next visit, they didn't have it. Not even a place for it in the racks. I was bummed. Fortunately, the next visit after that, they had them back in. Bought it. Fooled me once, shame on you, fooled me twice, shame on me. The engine hoist is a piece of beauty. Low profile and well constructed. And priced about the same as the high profile HF unit when you consider it comes with a load leveler. I already have two engine stands or I would want one of the GY units from Sam's. Hope for your sake they stock them again.

I bought the shop hoist and engine stand @ Sam's and I am well pleased with both. Price was reasonable and quality is excellent. I hope they make them available again so you can pick them up. I also bought the Rousch Racing labeled 3.5 ton SUV rated floor jack. It is now garage art as it went South shortly. Just goes to show that duds still make it to the mainstream.
