Google hot rod news search

One of the lesser-known features of Google is its news service at http://news.google.com . In addition to constantly updating news stories from thousands of websites, you can search the news by keyword.

An example: here's a link to a basic search for hot rod related terms:

http://hotrodders.com/cgibin/hr/pl.cgi?googlehotrodnews

Today, there's some stories about a record-setting price for the sale of a hot rod, plus NHRA/USHRA info, news from rodding mags, and news about companies in our industry.

Is this of interest to anyone? I'm considering putting a link on the board to daily rodding news. These stories often find their way back to the board, but this way, we could have them all in one place.

I think it would be a great idea - now I can be in the know.
And, like you said, it would stop the multiple posts of the same story in the lounge.

I remember many months ago when Jon posted the Google News Search. I put it in my favorites and look at it everyday. Now he has a hotrod search. Can't go wrong...Keep up the good work!

OK -- you should be able to see the link now on thread pages, at the bottom -- between the automotive dictionary and the dictionary search box. I've removed the Google Glossary link, it wasn't getting used much anyway.
