Hey Maxx,
Do you have the hydralic powered unit or do you bend that 1 5/8 stuff with just brute force?

This weekend
past two weeks have been a bit of a zoo here..so this weekend will have a bit of time to work on the bench and get the bender setup..mine is the manual style and I have some 13/4 0.95 (I meant 0.095 wall) big diff... to bend so then I will know how hard it is to use..

Bender is operational
Yup got it set up and working..bending tube is easy enough with a long handle..and makes some great header tubes..I would think this would be a good addition to any shop that fabricates chassis and such..specially a race shop that has to build and make repairs on a reg basis..as far as the economics of it the price of the bender and some tube is way less than what I would have to pay to send out for that work to be done..

Other options
I have an older JD2 bender that I have that I bought from a friend years ago. Works real good but need the hydrualic option. I made a stand out of 2in rigid conduit an old 16in trailer rim filled with concrete. Then I bought some 2in threaded rigid couplings bored th ID out to match the OD of the rigid pipe welded some 1/4in plate to them for mounting bases for various tooling and also welded some 3/8x16 nuts to the coupling, drilled them out so I could use some 3/8x16 bolts threaded in to keep the various tooling from moving around.
