Just guessing here but sounds like you have a ECM computer failing or a main feed/loose connection to the ECM...... I had a stealth that had simular crazy stuff going on and then it just died one day....... replaced the ECM and all was good.

There is an electrical junction box over on the drivers side A pillar that is part of the fuse box. It has little blades of metal in it and it has several layers and the power flows in may directions , like a maze actually.
I have found they can be the root of many electrical problems on Mr. Bishies Radio, door locks and such run through this little maze. The problem has nothing to do with the ECM

Yeah.. the ecm is something I'm not looking to replace, any simple things that can be cblheck or jumpered? Or what could be the possible thing to look for? Everything works exception to the radio, power locks and dome lights and the reset of the trip at shut off.

Not the ECM. Check the part I mentioned.

Not saying it isn't the module mentioned by LATECH.....
but the ECM was what was wrong with my old stealth and it's issue with the electronic climate control blinking out and the issue with the radio presets suddenlly resetting themselves, now it was a 93 so things prob changed alot in 03. |

Sounds like a power loss in the constant battery power , memory keep alive circuit in the vehicle.
The fuse box in the passenger compartment has the little "maze" i call it. Look at the fuse box, I'll bet it has about 10 different plug ins going to it. I had a stealth a while back that had a connectivity problem that was rooted in the "maze" part of the fuse box. I got it mostly sorted out by unplugging and plugging back in a bunch of the connectors at the fuse box.

I think its definitely a lost of power on the radio memory circuit, no power on the radio memory ( the yellow wire ), but there is power to the radio ignition wire ( the red wire). I twisted the memory wire and ignition wire together the radio works, so does all the other stuff that didn't work like dome lights and power locks. If I disconnect the wires the whole system goes dead, or if you leave the connection I made the whole circuit goes dead when the key is not on. Any ideas here? Its an after market stereo for those who may ask, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Is there a radio mem fuse?
