'Cause California is full of free-spirited wierdos! Well, Los Angeles area at least.

Actually, I am wondering if there are other parts of the country where people advertise crazy things on Craigslist. The ones for Los Angeles, and occasionally Orange County, crack me up. It seems people are always trying to trade something for pot, except they'll say "420".

One of the craziest ones I remember was the one where a guy had crashed his Taurus the night before while under the influence, and wanted to trade it for some "Coke, but not the kind you drink", is how he put it. I think he was kind of upset at how quickly the party came to a sudden halt (no pun intended) as soon as he crashed the car. Oh, and it was supposedly his mom's car.

I don't browse Craigslist very much except to buy or sell a specific item but I would bet good money and give odds that Houston has it's share.

Hmm. May have to start browsing that one if I run out of stuff to read on the LA one.
