Phone rang about 8:30 and it was the new owner of my old pro-street 41 (the one in my project journal). The guy had just bought it from the fellow I sold it to at the Nats in Louisville about a year and a half ago. All he wanted was to ask a few questions about the car, how it was built, engine size, hp, etc.
After talking to him for a few minutes it became crystal clear that this guy had no idea what he had bought. To begin with he's over 60 and knows very little about cars in general and knows absolutely nothing about pro-street cars and how they're suspension handles differently than a normal street setup. Basically he was totally clueless. I didn't tell him, but it will be a miracle if he doesn't kill himself in that thing inside of a week especially if he decides to drive it in the rain, wet roads are a bit dicey in that car. I purposely didn't sell to another geezer who wanted to buy it for that same reasons. Oh, well... out of my control now. Hope he makes it home to Kentucky OK. Centerline |

Maybe you can buy the "parts" back after he learns the hard way about pro-streeters in the rain?

There are not many "Dumb Rich People", they can afford to act that way!!! But they can kill themselves just as easily as anyone.

RAIN, who drives in the rain? I see clouds and I head for home.
Kidding of course, sorry to hear your previous project has ended up in the hands of a moron. Hope the car survives. |
