Got a scammer on the hook!

Had a guy email me bout buying my Gremlin.
It was from an ad I posted a couple years ago when money was tight, but I have no idea were he saw it at.
I emailed him back for poop n giggles. Told him 4500 and it was his. He emailed back and is going to have an associate mail me 7800 bucks and I keep 4500 + 50 for my troubles and then send him the car.
Im thinking bout screwing with him. Any ideas? HG

the best way you could scam him is to just make him spend a lot of time on you. Write him with ridiculous requests and post your email replies up here, it should be pretty entertaining. I think the first thing you should do is say "50 dollars, are you nuts?! You've got to be kidding me, I though you were serious about this deal. Apparently you're not...."

Then you've got him hooked to do what you ask, because he thinks you're going to comply. I'm sure we at HR.com could come up Whit some awesome things to get this guy to do.

If he is sending someone to pick up the extra $3000 in person have the cops waiting to nab him.

I'll figure out a good name.
I have an old mailbox by mine that I could use as an address. Think it would be safe?
I should let him send the money order, then send it thru the bank with there knowledge of course. Hg

the trick to this scam is the check is a fake or drafted illegally out of an unknowing person account, so in reality if the check goes through you are probably screwing some little old woman that has no idea, or its a fake and you are just wasting your time, because these people dont care this is what they do all day. Sorry to kill the fun, but if you really want to screw him see if you can get him to meet in person, then have him arrested for fraud.

I'd have "it" shipped freight collect and let him pay that plus the taxes on $4500 worth of scrap.

get his phone # and INSIST you have to make COLLECT calls. Keep him on the line forever..He'll love his bill that he will have to pay.

Also have him mail you 100 bucks cash green stuff, so you can drive to town and get everything arranged. (use a p.o. box or something)
usw the hundred on a new keg

Tell him you have ALREADY shipped him the car, and you need $80,000 for shipping costs, which is refundable when his cheque clears.

I have a similar situation, involving some guy who owns an oil company died and wants me to act as next of kin and they need all of this info and will deposit 12 million $$ into my account...

if I knew that it was good and honest and ethical, heck, I'd do it!

Then I'd buy me... a lot of musclecars, and a pole barn, and another. Drive one car each day of the summer adn have the pole barns to keep the elements away from all of those adopted "kids".
-matt
p.s. feel free to email my friend here to see if he'll give you 12million adn play with his head, and subscribe him to all the online newsletters you can find, that's what I did. Have the spammers get the scammers! johndamara@yahoo.com
