gotta remote start, no instru;

I have a Remote start switch, has the leads on it to start kar while working under the hood? Where do i connect these two leads , battery is one, but where on the other ,or am still wrong thanks for a minute of your time bob s

The other lead wire goes to the starter solenoid. The location of this solenoid varies with the brand of vehicle. On GM vehicles the solenoid is mounted on the starter.
Connect the remote starter lead wire to the small control terminal which is sometimes identified with the letter S. This connection is the same place where the ignition switch start wire is connected.
