Check Your Fuel Pressure.should Be About 55 Psi. Won't Start With Less.

if FP is fine then make sure security system isnt preventing start

its a common problme on these years of the achievas and grand amssss

i own one and it was same issue

i snipped the small yellow wire coming from the pass key thingy on the lock cylinder in the column

easy to do, just remove column cover real quick and snip the yellow wire, of the three small wires coming out of the cylinder pass lock thingy

then it will always start and the security light will be lit up all the time but oh well.... put black tape over it

common issue with these cars and others too all through the 90s years

seen it a thousand times....

we spent 400 bucks trying to have the ICM rebuilt which is where the security controller is located in these cars and all to no avail, security system still malfunctioned and prevented starts,

cutting the wire works well, been great for over a year now,

if fuel pressure is good and are injecting fuel(clicking sounds if you listen to them with a stick on your ear on them)and if spark is good then its not the security system.

try cam sensor then

thats next most common failure on these if no start or run

fuel pump is number one

does it run for a few seconds when key is put in run position?

for sure?

if so then id vote for ignition or security issue

if it has remote start system then check wiring and connections

also fuses check them all regardless of what else you try.,

ECM one may be burnt
dumber things happen.....
does the CEL light come on with key in run position but engine not running?

if not then thats not good....

check fuses and wiring and fuseable links
