Grand National Rear End

Hey Hotrodders im about to buy a grand national rear end and i would like to know how can i tell the difference? Plz help

The GN had the 8.5 10 bolt. As far as I know they all had the Traction Lock differnetial and 3.42 gears. They all had 28 spline axles. I think they also had the odd shaped housing ends with the three bolts holding the backing plates on instead of 4 bolts like the older 8.5 rear ends. It will be about 58 inches wide. All of the other 8.5 rear ends will be much wider than this.

How can I tell a grand national rear end.?
