Brandt has been kind enough to share his work and talents with us. Jon the site owner has said it was fine also. So people, please lay off the negative attitudes about how to do his job or whether this thread needs sent to the dump because you don't agree with it. I for one like looking at the pictures and the work that went into them. And I would imagine that anyone else out there in HotRodders that had the same talent would be posting theirs also. So please lay off the negativity before the negativity gets sent to the dump.
Thank you, Kevin |

Geez....
When did we become a bunch O lawyers? It is what it is. Quit making things so complicated the man was simply show off his talent if you don't like it don't go away mad ..just go away! If you have to say you piece and go.I my self have always found the "hot wheels craze" a little silly{Little } BUT after looking at these pictures it sparked a interest the world changes every day. either change with it or not Your choice I used to love those paintings that looked like a photograph but with a "tell "in them to PROVE it is a painting this is along the same lines and the mechanical genius used on that frame is awesome in the technology and swapping bodies around!! tell me do you just throw out the "parking brake" LOL Sure makes it hard for the repo guy to snag one of those LOL Illegitimis non carborundum!!!! Graphic Disoorder
Here is my little bit.
As a photographer who uses Photoshop CS, I have some idea just how much work went into producing these images. Leaving aside all the previous talk about copyright, advertising etc, if the site owner finds it acceptable then that is ok with me. Work like this operates on several different levels, it appeals to different people in different ways. Those who like small trucks like looking at them, those who are into the field of digital manipulation will be looking for ideas from someone more advanced than themselves. As for myself, I find the images very interesting for the colour combinations and how they work (or don't) as the case may be. There is a lot in there for many different people and I think the Mods are right to let us see them. |

The New Tahoe and Escalade up there are kinda edgy on color choices, which is what the Client wanted (trucks magazine). |

Awesome work Brandt
I bought a copy of the minitruckin that had your truck in it, Looks great they should have put some pics of it burning out or some more of the bare chassis. Just a quick question about it though. I saw a picture of the flame cutout around the gauges on the dash. It was hard to tell exactly what it was from the pic. Was it a peice of aluminum machined into flames, or was it a peice that was wood and upholstered? Just curious Brad |
