Greetings from an old newb!

Hello everyone!
First post here to intro myself. Been a car freak since a little kid, but got bitten by the PORSCHE bug as a teenager. Owned about 15 different ones, mostly mid 50's 356s (you know, bathtubs) but ALWAYS wanted an American Rod. Fast-forward to now....Porsches are gone, (except for one), sold the 58 to make room for my "new" 40 Ford Tudor Sedan. At this point in life, 59 going on late 20s, I didn't want to bring a car back from the grave. Something more in the instant gratification mode would suit just fine! Found it at the Goodguys Show last November in Scottsdale, and the owner lived about 3 miles from me.
Even though it's pretty much a "done" car, I've already started down the slippery slope with a new Wooden Banjo Steering Wheel. Next will be a new hidden sound system. Next will be.....Cruising, Cruising and some more Cruising! We moved to Prescott Valley AZ last year and everytime we leave the house we see at least a couple of Rods just driving along. They're everywhere! I've been told there's two very active clubs in the area, so we're ready to do some runs and hangin' out with other old farts with the same passion.
Look forward to hangin' out here too!

Let's see if I can post a pic or two......
