Question Gremlins Worth??

Hey All.
Anyone out there wanna take a stab at the Gremlins worth? Its tubbed, 4 point cage, racing seats, guages, 355 sbc W/glide and Ratchet shifter. It runs good, but not a race car in the sbc form. Im curious because my God D$%^ wife is wanting to buy a house so bad shes ready to (for real) make me slice my Fuc$ing wrist!
I may sell everything and buy it or face life in the nut farm. Tnx, HG

Depends I'd add up everything ya got in it and figure it that way.
Pretty much as long as you feel your not taking a loss on the price you put on it,it'll be about right.
Or have it apprased.
Or tell your wife you sold it,let me borrow it for a while then when you get the house it'll mysteriously show up in the garage one morning.

HemmiGremmie my heart goes out to you if it was race season around here you could get your money back. But I own my hoouse and you can tell you wife this if we buy a hoouse we have to not only make the hoouse payment but make all the repairs as well and even with an inspection they may miss some costly items like waterheater leaking basement.and as long as we are reenting that all come under the contract with the landlord.oh and do not forget to tell her about the taxes.
I knew I should not have post a pic of that blown gremlin.
good luck on the sell I know it is killing you inside to have to get rid of such a fun car.

HG, advice is free but good advice is hard to come by. Making good decisions more than half the time usually means you can do half way decent in lifes game. So you are at decision time and I don't mean how much is the Gremlin worth in dollars and cents. Look at all your alternatives and try to see where each one leads you and how they relate to each other. Otherwords, "What if?" your self to death and do it some more. I have hung on to my first car (and wife) through thick and thin and at times just thought the bucks out of it would get us over the hump, but we always found a way to hang on and am I glad. So often, I have seen dominating wives force their desires/wants on a adoring husband to only walk away with the house and more, leaving the mortgage with the guy, of course. It's a crapshoot, so write down all you options and reasons and see how the odds stack up. And good luck!!! Hope you make the best decision/choice for you and yours.

MeanMachine left something out.

Dont forget about them dang termites they will eat your house down and all you will have to show is a pile of mud.

That wont happen with a car

But if you do get termites let me know, for i am the Orkin man

I personally wouldn't give up my house and garage for anything. I have never rented a place, I bought my house when I was 19.
I'd say it was worth about $200.00. Should I write you a check or do you want cash? J/K
Go to a local dealer that deals with classic cars/ streetrods and have it appraised for resale value, not insurance value.

Cool

Keep your car. Stop putting money into it and start saving for a down payment on a house. My x-wife bugged me about selling my chopper to buy a decent house. Save every penny, buy only food on sale, stop drinking pop, and don't eat out at all, run regular gas and shut off the cable. You will soon realize a decent savings for your new house. Try every way to save money and you WILL SAVE MONEY! Get a nice house with a NICE garage to put the Gremlin in.

There are programs for first time buyers that take little or nothing down, low interest rates, etc. hud is one of them, check with a real estate agent. Tell her the value of the car will appreciate with the house and right now it's not a good idea to sell the Gremlin. Sit down with her and make a list of "luxuries" such as tm suggests. Good luck, man. Dan

wait 3 months and tell her that the new owners wife has the same problem she had and he's willing to let you have it back for "FREE".

Just think though. Buy a house, with a HUGE garage. Add a fridge, tv, phone, and make sure it's heated. Before the summer is out you'd have a new project sitting in there. If I remember right, you gotta wait till the weathers halfway decent to do anything now. I say go for the house and garage. Wifes really change when they get something like that. Usually for the good. Good luck either way.
