Grumpy: Where for hinges
I recently posted a question about replacing the rear hinges for my barn-door Suburban and Grumpy gave me the solution. Problem is, my local Chevy dealer says GM only sells the door side hinge half for $74 each and the body side must be purchased as an entire piller assembly for over $700.00 each. Man, what a nightmare this is becoming for a simple hinge problem!
Grumpy, or anyone, do you know of a suplier for just some darn hinges, pins and bushings?? Thanks again, Larry

for all your chevy and ford trucks needs goes back to the 40's on both. What year suburban is it? I have a 67 (carry all) 3 door suburban with the barn doors on the rear but the hinges on it are great.
