Gt Mustang 83-89 wiring diagram?
Yes Can anyone help me out with a diagram for changing my 83 carburated mustang to a 89 efi wiring harness is huge and kinda lost on wiring???? <img src="graemlins/sweat.gif" border="0" alt="[sweat]" />

OK what you have to do is seperate the Engine Managment from all the rest of the crap wires there, grab the Ecm and a good pin out for the 93. You should also have a square connector that feeds the engine harness juice, switched power ...ect. But what are the specifics??? Where exactually are you in the swap? Need more details!

OK I've not even started yet I just striped my 89 gt for all these parts and am basically overwelmed with it in general I've got to make this work I have no Idea what wires you're even talikng about so please help I'm not car stupid just wiring stupid sorry please help me though!!!

If not I do have a 94 harness I can convert to make it a little more user friendly. I'll dig up any info I may have bentinnovations@telus.net

If you have a good relationship with your Ford dealer they will probably let you look at and copy the ones you need, the one here does it for me whenever I need.

I have a similar problem, I tore apart a 89 mustang gt that was wrecked and bought for a donor to my anny convertable. After much detailing of the chassis and engine stuff, I lowered her in, and installed some more goodies, I already had a map harrness done up so I decided I would go that route, well after I cleaned the harrness up I found a great deal on a b 303 cam, So I decided I'd go mass air, I put in the 89 harrness, drop down the wiring for the oxy sensors, and stopped, reliasing I have no plug in for the mass, I check and reliase I have the map section of the old 88 harrness and I can't find the 89 mass section with the much needed plug in for the mass sensor. And I can't find it anywhere..... I have the correct plug in off of a super coupe, but I don't know where the 4 wires go to the mass harrness plug, there are 8 pins in the plug in for the harrness, and the map harrness only uses 5 of them so I need some help..... out of the 8 pins what 4 does the mass airflow sensor plug in, which 4 do I connect to, making the small jumper isnt a problem I just need to know which 4 pins do I connect to...I don't have a schematic
 I have the correct 5 speed computer, the correct main harrness, I just need the small harrness, or at least a schematic to it. ANy help to the new guy would be appreciated, or a schematic to hornebrian@hotmail.com would be a god send, thanks.
