Rite....it's a VW w/the body shortened 9" & the front & rear removed. The rear & roof was fabed by glueing foam to the car,forming it w/a meat cutter &
placing 6-8 coats of epoxy & fiberglass.
The frame was fabed from chrome moly & the front end is fiberglass anglia.
Full roll cage...etc
The VW/Anglia belongs to a friend of mine. The engine is from a S-10.
I have 3 cars:
66 Rolls on a home made frame 350/700R4
48 chopped,extended cab,narrowed 94 bed w/original fenders & Caddy finned GMC 350/700R4
64 Corvair vert
Don you never never stop amazing me w/the stuff you build. When you started this project I was surprised what it was going to be & then watched it morph into what it is today...joe
Here's an interesting use of a VW beetle body. Until you go around the back it is pretty hard to tell. I saw it today at "Billit Proof" (click here)
