i have a 1939, hot rod primer, flamed chevy truck. it is channeled down over the frame and has a 34 ford grille shell and grille. it has a polished aluminum intake with a hilburn type scoop air cleaner and i run the truck with no hood or side panels, with chrome long tube sanderson headers. NOW for the help i need, the motor is a 1969 350 4 bolt main block. it has forged flat top pistons , vortec 305 heads, an edelbrock aluminum intake with a 650 cfm carter afb, competition plus carb, hei ignition, sanderson headers, and a stock cam. i think around 330 hp. because of the pistons and high compression from the heads, WHAT DO YOU THINK? the truck weighs 1600 lbs. with me in it and it has tons of tork. let me know, thanks

You didnt say what cam you have. However, I think the heads are holding you back.

Did Not Give Enough Info For You To Help Me Did I ? The Motor Was Already Built Win I Acquired It, But It Is Just A Stock, Probably 300 Hp. Cam. I Realize The Heads Probably Do Not Flow Great But They Definately Make High Compression. I Did Add The Ignition, Intake, Carb, Headers Etc. I Can Not Explain How The Car Responds To The Throttle, But Like I Stated 1600 Lbs. With Me In It. I Was Just Curious To What Hp You Estimated. Still, Can You Imagine The Front Page Of The Weekly Paper "62 Year Old Arrested For Public Disturbance, Speeding, Loud Exhaust And Under The Influence Of Gasoline Fumes".
