Thumbs down Guide for Beginner

Hi All,
New Member; a few minutes.
I went to the guide and the first 3 links I tried are broken.
Maybe an update would be in order.
Looks like a great site.

Tie Down Straps

Hey everyone. My name is Scott and I own a 1957 Chevy. Its sky blue and has a big block in it. I was searching the interenet looking for tie down straps. I trailor my car and i want it to be snug in my trailor. So for anyone who trailors their car like i do, check this site out. www.1800tiedown.com The straps that they sell are very nice and they also sell seat belts that fit many classic cars. I strongly suggest that you check out this site.

Drag Racing Forum

Jon,

It is possible to have a forum for Drag Racing? Myself and others would benefit from such a section. Thanks and Thank You for the Hotrodders.com site!

Question New Hot Rodder looking for advice.

I am a new Hot Rodder, seriously getting ready to begin my project car, a 32 Ford street rod.

Is anyone familiar with any design software that I can plug in and play around with different 32 Ford looks with bodies, wheels, etc.?

I'm also looking for a step by step guide to building a 32 Ford hot rod. Any ideas?

Regards, Ted99

re: Guide for beginner hotrodders

Jon,

Didn't notice but I've been digging thru some tech articles and may I suggest a section covering "wheel fitment".

Specifically, along the lines of articles in Rod and Custom Nov 2002 "how to fit Mega-inch rollers under vintage tin" and
Street Rodder Oct 2003 "Living Large - selecting and installing plus-size tires"

Sorry I couldn't find them online. One site I did find was http://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html
which is a good tech articles explaining wheel fitment and measurments needed for planning the right size and style of tire.

Just my two cents...
