grill
It might be a Ford pickup? I'm just guessing. Afreind brought one to me he found in the woods. it looked cooler than the one I had so I mated it to my 34 Ply. Come to find out later it was off a 34 Hudson. I guess I'm saying if you like it, use it. It looks cool.

I would say it is in the Ford group because of the V8 emblem, but would say it was either a 1937 -38 Mercury or Lincoln grille because of the series '85' marking.

See if this helps you out. Its a rendering, so may be similar.

Not a clue what it's from, but IMHO, it will not complement the squared off Ford Model A lines as it flows.
Oh, and to avoid any confusion Mercury's were introduced in late 1938 as a 1939 automobile :D |
'33-'40 Ford of some kind, probably commercial truck. Not Mercury, they never used an 85 hp motor.
|
Definitely '39 Ford Standard. It's from a car, not a truck. I have owned one for about 35 years.
