H pipe used with an X pipe

i already have my exhaust run with an H pipe installed. i was thinking of using the dynomax ultra flow x muffler.
http://www.dynomax.com/mufflers.php?muffler=ultraflox
would it hurt to leave the H pipe or should i remove it?

No questioning the quality of the brand.

The X-muffler is nothing like a X-pipe. IMHO nothing more than a selling gimmick.

The X-pipe is a intersection to equalize pressure and create what is know as push / pull from the engine pulses.
it's not a "X" it's two curves )( that intersect for a smooth transaction. Allowing for engine pulses to intersect creating the push/pull effect.

========================

H-pipe is useless with a x-pipe. H-pipes are old news, better than nothing but not as good as a "X" pipe.

IMHO
Al
