Post hackers

Anybody have any problems with people trying to hack into your computer? I have a couple of people who keep trying to hack into my computer. I have the software to keep them out, but they keep trying anyway. Anyone know how to find out who and where they are by using their IP address? It is very annoying. Thanks for any help!

Talking

The internet software that I have tells me when someone is trying to access my computer and gives me their IP address. I would like to let them know unless they quit I will be giving the FBI a call. I have family in the FBI.

If you are using cable modem you should be running a firewall program and you would be recording attacks? you do not need this for dial up!

If you are on a cable modem it is more then likely some hacker looking for a dump to store illegal software on. back when I had cable I was hit about 100 times a day.had a good firewall that told me the ip numbers and would trace the source so running poxies did not help them.
