Hagan vs Rocky Hidden hinges

Does anyone have experience using either or BOTH? I need to get one of the two pretty soon. Anyone?

I have not used them personally, but I have never heard any complaints on either brand. You might check out the Company Reviews section here on the site and see if anyone has any gripes, or praises.

I was happy with the quality of the Hagan gas door kit, third brake light kit and, the license plate box kit. Can't speak for the hinges.
I noticed someone else that had hinges the other day...Autoloc. I ordered a set of their Bearclaw latches and they threw a catalog in the box. Didn't have prices but, the hinges looked pretty nice.
Found it on their website:

Neat catalog. Didn't have pricing but their website does. Some of the prices are pretty good. The Bearclaw latches where definitely a good price.

If you talk with the Hagen people they will send you a video of how to install the hinges.

I have the Hagan video. Looks pretty straight forward. A friend had tried the autolocs and had to rework them to get them right. He's a master metal worker, so I was left with the other two options.

Jeff ,,,,,,,I have used the Hagan hinges a couple of times and they are easy to install and work great, I'm installing a hagan hood hinge setup now,,,, I have heard some bad stories about the autoloc hinges,, I used some of their billet rocker switches and remote entry kit,, I was really disapointed, finally had to use something else,, no results with returning them either.their customer relations suck,,, The rocky hinges look like a good product,, I havn't used their door hinges but did use the trunk hinges,,and latch,, they worked good,, I think either hagan or rocky would be a good choice,, Bill

Not to hijack the thread :D but, that's good to know. I was going to get their keyless entry kit. What did you go with? Any trouble with the latches themselves?

No trouble with the latches but they aren't made by autoloc, Try some of the larger truck suppliers for the latches,, [bear jaw]you can buy them for around 10 bucks a Pair,, including the strike bolt,, Pm me and I will give you the phone # where I buy mine,,[parts supplier for freight liner trucks]they also carry window channel and lots of other stuff,,,
for the remote I went with Dakota Digital,, work like a charm,, I even burned it up and they gave me a new unit,, no charge,,, Bill
