I have a friend who bought a pair of fronts off eBay ... new from Halibrand ( Wellington Kanas ) just like this eBay ad ... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Origi...QQcmdZViewItem and he likes them. They do look nice ... and seem to be OK. But they are supposely made in China

Halibrand has a booth in Louisville Ky ... @ the NSRA Nationals in a few weeks. I plan on looking a little more closely.

The original Halibrand Sprint wheels is available in 17 inches. Just never be fooled with imitations and misleading words upon buying one. It's one of the America's first custom wheels. I had a friend who have it.

I would like to put Halibrand 15x10's and 15x6's on my 69 Chevelle SS396. Im kind of stuck in the 60's, I like the idea of the new ones being made out of aluminum so I don't have to polish them weekly like the old magnesium wheels. My Corvette and my 57 Chevy pickup have vintage American Torq Thrust wheels on them , But always wanted a set of Halibrands.
Thanks guys , Gene
