I don't really know anything about dealers of hallibrand wheels, but you can get them as an option on a factory five kit. Try factoryfive.com and see if they list them in their parts catalog.

Halibrand had problem for years. I am not sure they are doing better or not.
I was looking at a set for my 1971 Chev truck 1/2 ton about 15 yrs ago.. I was told a 6 month wait then. I bolted on 5 lug OE painted rallye wheels and never looked back

The sales representative told him that the fronts were in stock and would ship within 3 days. The rears were in stock also but needed machining for his back spacing and wheel pattern. They would ship in less than 3 weeks. Will have to wait and see how fast they get here ![]()

Several years ago when I lusted for a set to put on my '31 - called them, got a ration of 'crap' from the guy that answered the phone, changed my mind and bought the Billet Specialties. If they can't at least be courteous on the phone with someone who wants to spend the bucks, I don't want their parts, regardless of what it is and where it goes. They are one of the two that I really don't like - Sanderson Headers being the other (tho I do have them)

The ones that look similiar to the Halibrand Sprint are a tad over $600ea. for a 17x7 and $630ish for 17x9.5. Not that I couldn't spend that much.... just hoping to find something for a bit less if I can. Thanks!!

Halibrand was in Culver City CA from 47-63. Then in Torrance CA from 63-79. Ted Halibrand ( company founder and pattern maker ) sold off the company in 79 and passed away in 91. Halibrand Wheels were sold to Curt Waters who had also bought CAE. Curt Waters then sold the wheel business to Jackman Wheels San Diego. Eventually Halibrand ended up in Kansas.
So you have to realize that the newer, weird 17/18/and such wheels were NEVER patterned by Ted Halibrand. As I understand it ... lots of the older wheel patterns ( made by Ted Halibrand ) were burnt as firewood So no new patterns have been made to fit the weird, narrow supply/demand market for the non-conventional sizes. Halibrands are cast and then machined where the new 17/18/and such wheels are made on a CNC machine. This is a old Ted Halibrand made pair of wheels ... ![]() I would love to find a set for the front that matches for my 32 3W Ford coupe ... and YES Halibrand makes new ones but I want a pair that will match the patina on my 1965 pair.

I ordered a set of Halibrands from Richard LeJune 3 weeks ago ( July the 5th ). A pair of 4.5 X 15 for the front and a pair of 7 X 15 for the rear. They arrived yesterday ... July the 25th.
Everything is exactly like I ordered ... ( including the knock - offs ) and I am a HAPPY, SATISFIED customer. Delivery was as promised and the shipping was very reasonable. I will buy again ... Disclaimer : I am not associated with or have any financial interest in Halibrand or with Richard LeJune. I am just stating my experiences with the company and their customer service.
