Hamster or other small pets

I am wanting to buy some kind of small pet to have a little fun with, i used to have a hamster/mice/and a rat when i was younger. I was wondering what you all would suggest, and what other small pets are out there for consideration.

No ferrats though.

Just stay away from the Gerbils. There is always the small Hedgehog although the novelty has kind of wore off of them. Then there is always the Iguana although the novelty has wore off of them. Then there is the parrot which you can teach it some foul language although the novelty has wore off of them. Get a dog. At least it can ride around with you when you go cruising. And a dog seems to pick up it's owners mentality so the cooler it is the cooler you are. And a dog does seem to be a babe magnet. As long as it's a cute. cool kind of pup. What you got in mind?

Kevin

Wink

A friend of mine used to have a small menagerie in her house...until she had kids and found out that small children and small pets do NOT go together. Anyway, she used to have chinchillas. They're about the size of a hamster, very cute, and hey....if you don't like it, you can make a coat out of them.
Be careful, I hear they multiply faster than mice...

Chickie.

Guinea Pigs are pretty cool. A lot of people give them away. Check the free ads. Some of them have pretty good personalities. There size precludes perverse use of them....unless.....uh,I don't want to go there.
