Haneline gauges

A question about the accuracy of the Haneline gauges.
Installed a set of Haneline classics, in a '33 pickup. Running an LT-1 350.
Fired it up the other day, and noticed that the temp gauge was indicating about 240, (pegged on the high side) and the cooling fan hasn't started yet, and the Thermostat (190*) hasn't opened yet, and stuff is warm, but not hot to the touch. I say let it run untill the fan comes on or at least untill the thermostat opens. Boss sez engine is too hot, an' nuthin' is gonna work.
I say Temp gauge ain't accurate.
We're using th' sender that came with th' gauges.

Thanx
