[AC/DC]

I have a Hansen plasma cutter. Got it from a guy who bought some tools from a bodyshop sell. First of all, I know not a thing on how it works(no paper work). I plugged it in hooked up air(65to70lbs says that on top) attached the ground pulled trigger and no cut.What up? Can someone hook me up with advice or a web site, please? I 've been searching but nothing yet.

A plasma is somewhat of a complicated critter,, when you plug it in and pull the trigger you should hear air blowing,, it will not work without a supply of air, if the air is blowing and still no arch, then you might check for a relay or reset, still no luck then either its broken or worn out,, plasmas are not cheap to repair,,I bought a snap-on at a auction once that was no good,, the cost to repair it was pretty steep,, but a friend that works at a electrical company had it repaired for free, they had to replace alot of the diodes , it really never did work very well tho,, I bought a HTP 400 and its really a great machine, good luck,, Bill
