Saw on another forum that today, March 4, is Ed "BIG DADDY" Roth's birthday.

Wait, wait, wait!

When you said "Big Daddy" I instantly thought, Bid Daddy Don Garlits.

Just how many "big daddies" are there?

Happy Birthday Big Daddy...I tip the PBR too you...
I was fortunate enough to meet Big Daddy at the GNRS the year before he was called up to hot rod heaven.

Willy's you sure Roth was the first "Big Daddy"? The best, yes, but the first? I read or heard that Garlits was the first "Big Daddy", but nothing else fit when they were searching for a catch phrase for Roth. I think this was when they started makin 1/24th scale models of his creations and wanted a catch phrase on the box. I don't remember clearly for both lack of memory and my fever of 98! Correct me if I'm wrong please. Hate to remember wrong information.

Float in peice the father of free flowing ideas and fantastic fiberglass fabrication. *Salute*

Many thanks for one of the fathers of the custom craze! Where would we be without his influence.
