I used my 3 ton chain hoist to lift the rear of a Dodge dually recently to install spring helpers. It never strained lifting the wheels several inches off the floor and the truck has that big duel wheel rear axle and a fifth wheel trailer hitch for a goose neck trailer installed in the bed.
