Personally, I like galvanized pipe, as its very versatile for adding on or removing, and if you clean the threads and use quality tape, you wont have any leaks. Just my 1 cents worth.
that's what I did. a set of NPT dies from 1/8" to 3/4" from HF arn't very expensive and would work just as good
