I really like my side box on the US General from HF. I actually, call me stupid, find it easier to use than the larger drawers on the roller.

I am having a problem with the latch that connects the lock to the lock bar on the roller. Anyone have any insight on how to keep that latch connected to the lock?

Look up the thread a few responses and look at the coupon! I got mine assembled today it took about 30 minutes, had hell getting the three pieces out of my truck. The side chest was easy, the top chest was a little more difficult and required the assistance of my wife, but the base was a bugger and required a little thinking. I have pics, and I'm very satisfied with the box.

Sorry, wrong coupon, you have to get the coupon out of the hotrodder magazine, inside the front cover! the Mag is six bucks, it's a good read but looks like trash with the cover off it!

I just got done fixing the latch. Ended up taking all the drawers out, easiest drawer pulls I have ever encountered by the way! Needed a 10-32 bolt to fix. Went to the local Ace and got me a couple bolts, saw some snap ring pliers and then a bottle of dry lube. You can never leave with just a couple of bolts!

I lubed up my drawers and they glide nice and smooth.

I woulden't use harbor freight tools but i do store my mac and snapon tools in a harbor freight box and have for four years with no problem.detents seem to be a little strong and tools may move a little. I thank they may have worked on that looked at one month or so ago and seemed to be better than mine good luck

My detents are still stronger than I prefer. I should have worked on them while I had all of the drawers out.
