But since we get questions about Cavalier's and Yugo's here I might as well join the fray....

I've been working on dropping my Dodge Ram for about a month now. I'm gone every week so it's been a weekend deal... This truck will be the promo vehicle I'll use at car shows and parades, etc. to promote RumbleFest my new hot rod show.

It's just an old beater that I will repaint satin black and do a graphics wrap on later... plus a new bumper, rear rolled pan and some new mirrors and headlights...

I cut the front coils and installed a rear axle flip kit from DJM... dropped it 3" front and 8" rear.

Nice project, but is there a question in there somewhere ? It's just going to take some extra time being gone thru the week i use to be gone all the time like that, seemed like it took forever to get thing's done.

Well I'm still home...developed a nasty headache last night and saw the Doc this morning. Nothing major, just that 1000MG of Vicodin kinda slows a guy down!

I've put on a couple hundred miles on the truck the last few days and it rides OK... considering the redneck-engineered dual exhaust hits the rear axle about every 1/4 mile! And I'm waiting for socks so I'm running the fronts sans shocks.... ya I know I know....

Looks like the truck will be getting a Metalflake roof....which should add to the cool factor. And, in keeping with my low buck budget, it will have full Moon covers over those stock wheels....
