there is a new plastic out that i am going to look into. depending on price i may replumb this winter. i believe a very big factor is pressure. even my 15 horse compressor at the van shop was set low. i had no doubt that thing would explode pipes. all i'm saying is it can be used safely if you pay attention and do it right. mine is run so it is protected , i run less than 90 lbs of pressure . i would love to do my shop in copper but the price is ridiculous. we're talking over a couple hundred feet of copper. we'll see what this new stuff is and the cost.
i promise red if mine blows and puts a splinter in my butt i will sell a cow to buy copper.....
